1) Provides technical coordination of interfaces between the various E&M systems where applicable.
2) Coordinates interfaces and interdependencies between civil work and system related equipment
or sub-systems.
3) Involved in design submittal and vendor submittal reviews.
4) Monitors compliance with Project Standards and Design Criteria as required and applicable.
5) Provides technical input and advice in the areas of systems engineering and operations as necessary.
6) Reviews E&M Contractor submittals for compliance and design integrity.
7) Participates in the planning and development of the testing and commissioning process.
8) Coordinate with TTS (Bombardier Transportation HQ in Kingston, Canada and Pittsburgh, USA) and contract requirements regarding electrical and mechanical interfaces between local partners or suppliers.
9) Work with Kingston/Pittsburgh engineering and local partners or suppliers to coordinate interface and design criteria between electrical and mechanical subsystems.
10) Participates in project implementation by providing relevant design criteria and documentation, design reviews and liaison with partners.
11) Works on new or modified solutions and methods for E&M elements, specifically interfaces
