. Responsible for the provision of safe, efficient and effective revenue service within the approved Annual Operating Budget. The O&M Director (SDC General Manager) provides effective senior management guidance including planning, directing and organizing all operations and maintenance activities.
· Exercises leadership and supervision over the personnel and activities of the Operations and Maintenance organization.

· Manages the entire operations and maintenance organization through planning, developing, organizing, and delegating work; developing and monitoring departmental performance objectives; and preparing of annual operating budget and monitoring variances.

· Ensures the proper development and implementation of company financial, administrative and personnel policies

Bachelor degree in Management, Engineering or a related field

Extensive progressively responsible experience in all facets of rapid rail transit operations and maintenance; 10 years of experience in public transportation including 5 years at a senior management level; Experience in budgeting, planning, and labor relations. Experience of a start up is a plus.
