Market Data Analyst: This role is strategically essential to make the data vendor of choice in Korea.

Brief job description

Market Data Analyst will be responsible for collection and maintenance of real-time and historical financial data, and data enhancement and quality improvement projects run both globally and locally.

Responsibilities
• Maintenance and administration of Korean equity information provided by data suppliers e.g. Korea Stock Exchange in order to deliver the data to the company's information products
• Management of service level and quality of data provided by data suppliers
• Deeply understand equity information e.g. share prices and ability to specify data definition of new contents or modification to development team overseas
• Understanding major clients’ needs or requirements, liaise and maintain the relationship with the front lines
• Response to queries raised by clients or internal staff
• Analyzing financial market trends and directions, lead provision of timely and accurate information

Qualifications
• Financial market knowledge.
• More than three years work experience in financial related fields
• Excellent verbal and written negotiation skills in English and Koran (Teleconference, Documentation)
• Be highly self-motivated and proactively show initiative in planning, implementation and reporting
• Ability to direct data specification and requirement to system developer understanding accuracy and timeliness of market data
• Experience of working in project environment preferably as project manager
• Other related skills and knowledge include; Strong in MS Office (especially for MS　Excel), the products, understanding of how clients use financial market data
